About Best Friends

This piece is a personal favourite of mine as my own pagoda cat/best cat friend Texas is doing what he does best, living his best life asleep on a red plastic chair. The dogs are all pagoda pups that have been adopted by many of my best human friends 😊

It’s a scene that lots of us living in Cambodia have experienced. Many animals here are well treated and looked after but many are dumped in pagodas where they don’t always receive the care they need or live wild on the streets. The following organisations - Paw Patrol, Siem Reap Pagoda Cats, Four Paws International and Animals of our World work tirelessly to care for these beloved beasts. Their work is crucial in preventing suffering, preventing the spread of diseases, stopping the dog meat trade and ultimately improving the health of all local animals living alongside us.
